Can I customize my course after it's been launched? What if we have new reconciliation resources, or our leadership changes?

Once you've launched your course to your learners, it's considered finalized and published. In most cases, we do not recommend changing your course once your learners have begun learning, as it can be very disruptive and confusing for learners in-progress.

However, we do understand that business moves quickly and things can and do change, especially if you've opted for a longer license or have needed to delay customizing everything for your launch date. If you've updated your reconciliation resources, have adopted a new logo or branding, or have new leadership who would like to introduce the course, those changes can be made to your course. Most updates can be done free of charge; if what you are requesting would incur a cost, you will be informed before the updates are started and will be able to approve or opt out.

Some updates cannot be done (such as adding new modules to a course) without disrupting learner progress, and cannot be executed in live courses. Before proceeding with updating assets in your course, please contact your Reconciliation Education team member to discuss options available.

Editing already-live courses is a delicate process and takes time to do impeccably. The update process can take as long as 2 weeks to complete, depending on what updates need to be made and what elements of the course are affected.

What if I notice a typo or mistake?

If you find a typo, error, or element of the course that is not functioning or appearing as it should be, please contact your Reconciliation Education team member at 4seasons@reconciliationeducation.ca.

When reporting a typo, mistake, or malfunctioning course element, include the following in your email:

  • The URL (website address) where you are taking the course
  • The name of the lesson where you see the typo
  • A screenshot showing the exact location of the element that needs to be repaired
  • If you are reporting a typo or error: please describe the typo or change that you believe should be made or fixed

Our content team will review your submission and perform updates as necessary to the course content. For most simple typos, the error will be repaired within 2 business days. In some cases, items reported as errors in the content may take up to 6 months to be fully researched, validated, and reintegrated into the course.
