If your organization is a client of Reconciliation Education hosting your course on our course portal, you may have the option of adding custom badges for your learners to earn in the portal.

What are custom badges, and how do they enhance the learning experience?

For clients who are currently hosting a professional development course inside Reconciliation Education's LMS, your learners now earn badges inside our new course portal by completing course sections and other activities on the site.

These badges award the learner points, which contribute to their standing on a leaderboard. Learners can see each others' standing on the leaderboard, and strive to top the charts with the most points. 

For an additional fee, you can order a custom badge design and setup, with our without a dedicated leaderboard, just for your learners.

This means it's easier than ever to gamify your learning pathway.

With a selection of custom badges and a custom leaderboard, you can easily gamify the course experience for your learners and encourage them to earn points and complete goals, ultimately completing the course at the same time.

Here are some of our favourite reasons to love custom badges and leaderboards.

• Drive course completion by opening a competition among your learners or departments within your organization. Will HR earn more points than Front End Fulfillment? Bragging rights or a prize are great incentives to win.
• Give learners more to be excited about! Who doesn't love feeling accomplished? Earning badges for completing the course and other activities on the site encourages learners to keep visiting the course and the site to learn more.
• Add a social element to an online experience.
