Can I check my learners' progress? What is a Power User?

Launch day was a success, but what now? Are your learners finishing the course? Read on to know what information you can draw, and how.

👤 This article is for the main point of contact for a participating organization whose learners are completing the course on reconciliationeducation.docebosaas.com.

You had a gold star launch, and your learners are now completing the course...

Right?

One of the most important considerations for an eLearning program is its effectiveness. It's critical to know how many learners have completed, who is languishing, and where you can best direct your efforts to drive course completion.

That's why reporting is so important.

For clients whose learners are completing the 4 Seasons of Reconciliation or other Reconciliation Education offerings through Reconciliation Education's LMS (course portal), you now have more insight than ever into how your learners are doing.

As part of your course license, you receive a free Power User seat for a member of your team.

If you have purchased a SCORM edition of the resource for your LMS, Reconciliation Education is not able to provide any reporting.

SCORM files live in client LMS (Learning Management System) environments, which Reconciliation Education does not have access to.

If you are a SCORM client seeking a progress report or snapshot, please contact your organization's LMS administrator or Talent Development team.

What is a Power User seat, and why do I want one?

For longtime fans and users of the resource, Power Users are the evolution of Group Analysts (which existed in Reconciliation Education's original course portal).

Power Users have access to a special dashboard inside the LMS, which provides access to the Reporting tools. Power Users have abilities inside the LMS that regular learners do not: mainly, they can see, filter, export, and print a variety of different status and progress reports.

Using your Power User seat, your team can:

  1. Check on the progress and activity of any learner in your organization
  2. Visit reporting dashboard pages to quickly see important high-level data without drawing a report
  3. Instantly download presentation-ready, graphically designed learner reports
  4. Instantly download granular data reports encompassing your full learner group's status and progress
  5. Track overall learning time for each learner
  6. ... and more!

Who is our Power User?

You decide who your Power User is. This person needs to have an active account in Reconciliation Education's course portal in order to access the reporting dashboard.

When deciding who your Power User should be, consider the flow of data in your organization. Who needs information about course completion? Whose duty is it to prepare status reports or presentations about your learning initiatives? Choosing a Power User who will most benefit from quick and easy access to reporting features is a best practice.

We recommend choosing someone who is part of the core course project team, and who has experience working with software and applications such as Excel, and CRM software such as Workday or HubSpot. The more technically proficient your Power User is, the more you will benefit from Power User features!

Can we have more than one Power User?

Your license includes 1 free Power User seat. Enterprise-wide purchases or purchases of more than 500 seats include additional Power User seats, based on learner group size.

Ask your Reconciliation Education team member for more details.

How do we use Power User features?

Your Power User seat first needs to be activated.

To activate your Power User seat for your organization, have your main point of contact connect with your Reconciliation Education team member.

Let the RecEd team know who you would like to designate, and share their full name and email address so we can update their account.

Once your Power User features are activated, you can read our quick win guide for instructions and assistance with using your reporting tools here.
